The rebuilding of the action starts with a full inspection and a decision is made as to which parts to replace. It can be as little as reshaping the hammers and regulating. Or, it can include replacing everything except the original keys and key frame. A full replacement includes all new underfelt, key bushings, back checks, whippens, shanks and flanges, and hammers.
